Job Description

We are seeking an Expert Malware Developer for a full-time, on-site/ remote role at our Islamabad office. Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop sophisticated, platform-specific malware for Windows and Linux to support penetration testing and red team operations.
  • Identify, analyze, and exploit security vulnerabilities in systems, networks, and applications on Windows and Linux environments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate malware solutions into comprehensive cybersecurity strategies.
  • Research and implement cutting-edge techniques in malware development and exploit creation tailored to each platform.
  • Contribute to threat intelligence reports, providing actionable insights to enhance defenses across diverse systems.

Required Qualifications

  • Expert-Level Programming Skills: Proficiency in any languages such as C, C++, Python, Rust, Assembly, Go, Nim, and D or similar, with experience in low-level programming and cross-platform exploit development.
  • Advanced Malware Expertise: Proven experience in developing and analyzing complex malware (e.g., rootkits, ransomware, stealthy payloads) for Windows and Linux.
  • Cross-Platform Knowledge: Deep understanding of Windows (WinAPI, PowerShell) and Linux (ELF, kernel modules) environments for malware development.
  • Reverse Engineering Mastery: Experience with tools like IDA Pro, Ghidra, or Radare2 for dissecting malicious code across multiple platforms is plus.
  • Cybersecurity Expertise: In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity principles, including exploit development, network security, and cryptography, with platform-specific applications.
  • Innovative Problem-Solving: Exceptional analytical skills with a proven ability to tackle complex technical challenges in multi-platform environments.
  • Collaborative Mindset: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, working with penetration testers, threat analysts, and developers.
  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
  • Bonus Skills: Familiarity with advanced persistent threat (APT) tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs), kernel-level programming, or red team operations across Windows and Linux.
